The Ortofon Concorde MkII ELITE is the flagship reference-class moving magnet (MM) DJ cartridge created to mark the 100th anniversary legacy of Ortofon's cartridge design. Combining high-end audiophile fidelity with the rugged physical architecture of the Concorde chassis, the ELITE features a real Nude Elliptical diamond stylus, a specialized rigid aluminum-magnesium cantilever, and a real gold-plated metallic body. It is engineered for vinyl purists, high-end listening bars, broadcast environments, and master vinyl archiving where transparent acoustic detail and extended frequency response are paramount.

  • Nude Elliptical Diamond Stylus: Employs a solid, whole-diamond Nude Elliptical tip (rather than a tipped/bonded diamond), drastically reducing tip mass for faster transient response, lower distortion, and superior micro-detail extraction from vinyl microgrooves.

  • Rigid Aluminum-Magnesium Cantilever: Built with a specialized 750 µm aluminum-magnesium alloy cantilever that provides structural rigidity without added mass, translating groove modulations directly to the generator coils with high accuracy.

  • Gold-Plated Body Shell: Features an exclusive gold-plated finish on the molded housing, offering aesthetic distinction while shielding internal generator components from interference.

  • Custom Rubber Suspension Compound: Utilizes an exclusive rubber suspension dampening formula developed specifically for the ELITE to maintain stable tracking without sacrificing dynamic openness.

  • Audiophile-Grade Output (8.5 mV): Delivers a healthy 8.5 mV output voltage that guarantees a pristine signal-to-noise ratio into club mixers, audiophile phono stages, and studio interfaces without requiring extreme preamp gain.

  • Direct SME Tonearm Mounting: Retains the classic one-piece Concorde form factor that locks directly onto standard S-shaped SME-bayonet tonearms without headshell leads, screws, or manual alignment tools.
